Set in the famous village of Aviemore in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, this lovely Victorian house boasts all modern comforts as well as fine period fireplaces, sanded floors and a sweeping staircase leading from its gracious hall. A wide choice of pubs, restaurants, good shops and a railway station are found within a short walk, making Braeriach an excellent base for visitors who choose to travel without a car, provides the perfect location for enjoying mountain biking and walking through breathtakingly beautiful scenery and a wealth of other oudoor pursuits including climbing, kayaking, quad biking, water sports on Lochs Morlich and Insh and, in season, snowboarding and skiing. Less energetic visitors may prefer to explore the reindeer and sled dog centres or take a trip up the mountain railway for a meal with stunning views 'on top of the world'. Cawdor Castle, Culloden Battlefield and Loch Ness are all within easy reach as is Inverness (35 miles).
